- CHANGING TRIDIMENSIONAL PLASTIC ITEMS |
Plastic objects that change colour are produced using
special colorants that become transparent, revealing
the base colour when the critical temperature is exceeded.
This threshold is determined on an individual basis
according to the required application.
The colour change is reversible and the temperature
varies according to the formula. See Magicolor chart

The microencapsulation process protects the colorant
during the moulding stage, ensuring a stable reaction.
Magicolor is compatible with all the most widely used
plastic materials for injection moulding and extrusion,
such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, ABS,
etc., and complies with the current safety standards
for food and toys. |
